[There were some stunning lightning displays about a fortnight ago. It went on for several hours so I decided to try some long exposure photos... Results weren't too bad. Had to post the second one. Though it's blurry and out of focus, there is just something about it that catches my eye.]

[Holy crap. Holy mother friggin ultra-violet crap! I will be the first person to do my english speech on Monday. *hyperventilates* Quick! Paperbag! Or perhaps a plastic bag so I may temporarily asphyxiate myself and be "mysteriously absent/unable to perform" my oral assignment. ... Talking of which, last night I had the closest thing to a nightmare since primary school (I think?). I dreamt I was called out in english to do my speech. Not only was I frightened because I had to do a damn speech in front of people, I had prepared barely anything for it. No speech, no power point or other accompanying visual aids. Prior to class I had decided to wing it but when the time came, I found I couldn't. Being the nerd that I am, I didn't want to fail either so I sort of had a nervous break down and asked the teacher to let me perform later. Although she was VERY disappoint, she said I could wait outside until lunch.. and then I'd have to do my assessment. I had a panic attack because I was beyond nervous and couldn't do anything. I couldn't write the speech, had no computer to do a powerpoint.. a total mind blank. I was then startled awake. As nerdy as the dream was, it scared me. So for once I stayed up and was awake early on a weekend. ... reading books. D: *frowns* Stupid.
Conclusion? Apparently nightmares aren't enough to scare me out of my procrastination habit. ]

Inspiration: royal purple and lime green (have been slightly obsessed with this combo as a result of highlighting unichem notes), fire-orange in vintage photos, grunge, carports and the rain

Amount of time: over 3 hours. (FTW, it's like I constantly work in slow motion or something...)

[ This was only supposed to be a simple duo-colour-toned image but it turned into some grungy picture that took me over 3 hours to do. *frowns*... Bloody hell.
It all started this afternoon when I was very bothered by my msn display picture. I just had a really long shower and it was only 8 so I though what the hell, why not? and decided to whip up a very simple picture to use. I found a photo of a doodle I did in math class and decided to clean it up a bit and perhaps add ONE colour to it. This was supposed to only take roughly half an hour so I could could catch up on assignments and homework later in the night. Argh, the picture could've atleast turned out like I wanted it to.. but no, it just had to taunt me with bothersome things. T_T
In math class I was terribly bored and asked Kristi for a word to inspire me. She said "magazine" but the whole word didn't fit on my page and looked ugly, so it was shortened to "maga". Swirls were added because.. they're pretty awesome? So yeah, a doodle was borne. *snickers* )

[ Another WIP. Probably will never finish it though. Based off a doodle I did in my math english book last year. "Awabt" is a word that started off as "acumen" that later found itself a new shell. Oh look! "albumin" is a word that means egg-white. Sweet!

Started off as a procrastination thing to avoid my imminent fossilisation by homework, assignments and tests. Then I decided to make myself a dp for msn. Oh well. Atleast the colours are funky looking.
